	Developing the Construction/Installation Schedule A Construction Schedule flows from the Project Timeline and/or Planning Schedule. It details the means and methods that will be used to perform the individual tasks needed to complete the project. The "owner" of a construction / installation schedule is usually the contractor.		Construction (Installation) Schedules are developed after contracts are awarded but prior to the start of construction. They are the detailed plans a contractor uses to complete the work in their contract, and must be updated on a routine basis.

Executing the Plan: Periodic Schedule Updates

After developing the construction schedule and getting baseline approval, periodic updates are needed to ensure that construction is on track toward meeting the owner's milestone dates.
